GynoPrep for the gynaecologic cytology from
Tharmac offer following advantages:
 The product need
not always be the most expensive, to offer reliable results.
 Compare cost of Tharmac product - much less expensive, because it takes a totally
different approach, and not the conventional one.
No need to have instrumentation
costing several thousands of dollars and still manage lower
quality results, or at best for comparable quality

Functional merits with Tharmac’s approach :
Cell
distribution is very consistent, with better individual cell morphology.
GynoPrep, in conjunction with Tharmac
Cellspin Cyto centrifuges compensates for poor cell smears
and features typical
cell image as shown by Papanicolaou.
Representation of cross section of all cells,
cell cluster structures and inflammation cells – true picture with complete
information and not a “cleaned-up” less than perfect picture of cells.
Clear indication of inflammation for example,
granulocytes, lymphocytes, and histocytes are not extracted and cleaned
up, as these serve well in better diagnosis by preserving tumour diathesis.
The specific flora is a much better indicator
of a more reactive and dysplastic lesion, which is achieved with Tharmac
method
Better and faster diagnostic process, thanks
to well defined areas of 22mm x15mm rectangle, for the
purpose, employed by Tharmac.
No
loss of cell by filtration process or by extraction method, cells available for
viewing under native
condition in original matrix.
The
remaining material permits further usage – for eg. for HPV examination
GynoPrep does not show any inhibition in DNA
recovery from samples or plasmid DNA and it is a great
practical advantage !
