WHOLE BLOOD PLATELET LUMI AGGREGOMETERS

Whole - blood Lumi - aggregation systems and whole blood ionised calcium     Lumi - aggregation systems detect platelet aggregation in whole blood,     diluted blood, platelet rich plasma or washed platelets by measuring the     impedance between the electrodes. A wide variety of luminescent reactions (ATP release, total adenine nucleotides,     ionised cytoplasmic mobilization, superoxide generation and others) can be     measured by the sensitive photomultiplier tube in the Chrono-log     lumi-aggregation systems. Systems include automatic optical aggregation channels for measuring platelet     aggregation in PRP, measuring agglutination of latex particles or investigating     shape change of suspended cells. Aggregometers include channels for performing aggregation tests in PRP when     desired. Chrono-log offers a complete line of highly concentrated platelet     aggregation reagents, hence, only micro volume of reagent are used per test,     resulting in high accuracy and low cost per test. Note : The mode is available, in a less expensive single channel version. Choice of single or dual channel with luminescence or optical or impedance or combination modes available for research applications. 560 Ca : Shares majority of the features of the above system but has additionally, ability to measure simultaneously ionised calcium flux in aequorin loaded cells and response to the stimulus.
